I'm finishing up beta details right now. I should be done in the next couple of days. If you would like to get in on the beta read of the new book, Warden's Will, all you need to do is private message this account with your e-mail address and whether you would like your copy for Kindle or other format ereader. Most smartphones can read either format with the Kindle app or a third party free app.

This is a new series so there is no prerequisite knowledge necessary to get the most from this story. I will start sending copies out this Friday, and the cut off for Beta requests is Saturday the 27th of August unless demand is still running high, then I might extend it a bit.

I hope to be emailing a lot of you in the near future! I don't normally ask, but please give this a LIKE and a SHARE to help me increase visibility. Anyone who sends a message asking for a copy by Saturday (27th of August) will get one, fan of the page or no. Free books! Let's get some folks reading.

Progress update time. The first editing pass is done on the book, and the second pass is underway. Book two is also going well. I might have the initial writing done on that before Book 1 is ready for main release. Once pass 2 is finished on the book I will be opening up beta reading spaces, and I'll probably get a list of people together some time before I'm finished.

Things have been hectic here, but I'm keeping on schedule pretty well. I'm also trying to be a bit better about reaching out to the fans regarding my work. I don't want my updates to become one of those pages you have to silence because they're constantly popping up in your feed, but I do want you guys to know that I'm still here, and still writing.

If I was a Knight of Ethan they'd probably call me Persistence. It may take a while, but we'll get there.

What about you? If you were a Knight, what would your name be?

For those still watching, the new book is coming along well. I'm deep into my first pass of editing, and spending a great deal of time with the novel every day. I've had a family issue arise, but work is a good way to escape that for now, so I'm actually ahead of schedule on book work for a change.

Unfortunately my normal editing staff is onto far grander things right now, so this one is a completely in house project for me. I will be taking extra care to deliver a final product that is as free of error as I can get it on my own. I'm working really hard at cleaning this up.

I'm afraid I can't lay out an exact time frame for release, but I WILL be releasing preview reads here on the page for interested parties. As always, fans get early access to those kinds of things, so please keep your eyes open. It won't be long now.

If there is a strong enough interest I might release some signed print copies as well, but that is still up for consideration.

Thank you, as ever, for being wonderful fans.

The Will and The Way has reached a point in its creation that it is becoming a bit more than I originally planned it to be. I had this noble design to make it a single story that would be self contained, but consulting with a few people has left me realizing that the book is just far too long for a single entry.

The good news of this is that I now have a book that is technically done other than editing, rewrites and cleaning up, which is a long process. I'm not sure if this will end up being a two part or a three part series right now. It could end up longer.

I also might rename the project due to a slight shift in focus, but that is for consideration later down the line.

I will try to keep you updated when there is something worth updating for. I don't want to clutter up your pages with posts with nonsense that you're not interested in.

As always, thank you so much for reading.

~Heath
